Today I want to talk about something I see frequently online - the ‘ditto’ approach. This is where new business owners will use someone else’s services, programs or products as a foundation to build their business. While this method might feel safer in the beginning, it can lead to problems down the road and I want to share with you why. 

 

In this episode, I’m going to run you through the 3 reasons not to model your services from others in your industry. I understand that when you start your business you'll engage in market research by examining what others in your industry are doing. It can then be tempting to leverage other people’s offers as the base for your own programs, products and services.  

 

But there are 3 big business reasons not to go down that road that I want you to reflect on today.
